Diazolidinyl urea is an antimicrobial preservative that acts as a formaldehyde releaser. It is used in many cosmetics, skin care products, shampoos and conditioners, as well as a wide range of products including bubble baths, baby wipes and household detergents. Diazolidinyl urea is found in the commercially available preservative Germaben. Diazolidinyl urea may cause contact dermatitis.
Application: 1. It can be used in creams, lotions, shampoos, wet wipes, etc. various resident and wash-off products 2. Generally recommended addition amount is 0.1~0.4% 3. The pH value ranges from 3 to 9, and it can be added in a wide temperature range (<80ºC) 4. It can be used in conjunction with parabens and IPBC to enhance its anti-corrosion effect 5. Compatible with various surfactants, proteins and most cosmetic ingredients
